One thing I cannot stand is people that 'snap' their cards when playing. I don't mind playing on none-playmat surfaces though, as long as it's clean and not wet since I can easily dispose of my cheap outer sleeves if I really **** the sleeves up. But the only one I use is the nyaruko one. I treat the cheap, clear outer sleeves as consumable and swap out those pretty frequently.Īs for playmat, I currently have a custom made nyaruko mat, a coral mat, and a blockade inferno mat. All of my sleeves are still in somewhat used but still near mint condition after years. This is because I love anime sleeves, but the anime sleeves typically are only printed once after a season ends, so their prices and rarity just shoots up as time goes on. If it's some cheap clear or generic colored sleeve that I'm using, I wouldn't bother with double sleeving.

There are decks that I treat my sleeves more carefully than the cards themselves, and prioritize making sure the sleeve takes as little damage as possible over the cards. I almost always double sleeve, but that's because I treat my sleeves as a collection, not a consumable. Also, it would be difficult to clean them if I were to get it dirty. It gets dirty, no problem! I laminated it for a reason! Playmats get dirty and I just disgust it because I would spend so much on it, and after a few weeks or months, just treat it like crap (just like any new thing you would get like a phone). The starter playmat is literally all I need. too many to choose, and it would be too many accessories to carry. I love Pale Moons (second is Genesis huehue) :3 I'd never take them out of the outer sleeve unless I am swapping sleeves or taking them to clean. Side topic, you guys mind a playmat? Or playing anywhere (assuming it is clean, such as local cardshop tables)?ĭo these things show who you are in any cardgame, or rather, you just come to play the game as is? I don't want to ruin the deck I favor most and treat it like crap! I spent a lot on it!" Why take care of them?" or are you, " They are my favorite and I main them. What do you guys do? " It's just cards with pictures and words.

Only a few double sleeved and kept their deck in perfect condition!

It pretty much makes me want to cringe when they snap their cards to the playmats and then later complain about why their cards are all bent on the top right.
